Transparency in government is a right in a democracy. Governments and publicly funded organizations like school boards, hospitals and post secondary institutions make decisions that affect our lives, everyday.
Asking them to show us that their decisions are in our best interest therefore shouldn't be difficult. And, it is our right to participate in these processes – and to demand the highest standards of accountability in all decision-making at the local level.
Engagement – not muckraking – is our objective.
How it Works:
Click on the "How Can We Help?" button
Tell us what about the issue you are concerned about in as much detail as you can.
We do NOT collect any personal information about the people posting to our site. No cookies or data is collected or stored in any fashion. We don’t know who you are and your submission cannot be traced back to you from this process.
The system creates a file number that is how you check on the progress of our review. Only if the file is accepted will your file number be active on the site. We have experts in a large number of fields, such as not-for-profit organizations, engineering, procurement, contract procedures among others who review your submission.
There isn’t a phone number to call, an email address to write to or an office to visit.
We are volunteers who do not have a political agenda, axes to grind or scores to settle. We simply want better, more transparent decision-making and total accountability from those spending our money.
